DESCRIPTION

The incredible tour with a visit to majestic Colca canyon, is an incredible experience with views of magnificent landscapes of water mirrors, Andean animals South American camelids and migratory birds); as well as views of snow-capped mountains, and active and inactive volcanoes throughout area, such as famous Misti volcano, Ubinas, among others.

In addition, to be able to experience a pleasant moment in hot springs with temperatures of 38°c is recommended for people with bone and muscle diseases. On a journey that will take them until they arrive in city of Puno.

ITINERARY

1ST. DAY: AREQUIPA – CHIVAY + VISIT TO HOT SPRING LA CALERA.

From 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. Our local guide picks up passengers from their hotels to depart towards deepest canyon in world, making stops at Pampa Cañahuas (Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve) habitat of South American camelids, we will be able to appreciate vicuñas whose fiber is finest and most expensive in world; also we will observe migratory birds (flamingos, Andean gulls, wild ducks, etc.).

Then we arrive at Volcanoes Viewpoint at 4,800 meters above sea level), highest part of tour, from where we will observe western mountain range and volcanoes. Continuing with the journey we will arrive in Chivay and we will settle in our lodgings and then have lunch in Chivay (Lunch not included). In afternoon, they can go to the popular thermal baths of La Calera.

2ND DAY: CHIVAY – COLCA CANYON – CRUZ DEL CONDOR – CHIVAY – PUNO.

After breakfast, we will begin with a visit to the Natural Viewpoint: Cruz del Cóndor, a point from which we will be able to appreciate extension and depth of canyon; In addition, you can enjoy the spectacular flight of the condors; After this unique experience we will go to the viewpoints of Wayrapunko, Andaguilque, Choquetico, passing through the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma and Yanque. After a few hours, we will return to Chivay to enjoy a buffet lunch.

After lunch, we will leave for Puno, on the way we will make a stop in Lagunillas, a beautiful place where you can see mirrors of water, various Andean birds, and trout farms in their artisan boats. In middle of the spectacular views and peaceful environment, you will be able to take incredible photographs; later, we will arrive in Puno around 7:00 p.m. and you will be transferred to your hotel.
